Harrild Albion number 1012 from 1860. Platen 24.5″ x 18.5″ (62cm x 47cm). Bed 28″ x 22″ (71cm x 56cm). The press is 5′ long x 3′ deep x 6’6″ high (1.5m x 0.85m x 2m) and located in Sevenoaks, Kent. There is a good, cloth-covered tympan but no frisket. This Tofko etching/relief press is offered for sale on behalf of a customer. It is geared and the bed size is 80cm deep x 140cm long. It is only three years old and in very good condition. Located in Peckham, London.

Very well made, solid and capable etching press with substantial solid cast iron bed 45″ long x 33″ deep (114cm x 84cm x 40mm thick). The top roller is 8″ diameter and the bottom roller, 10″ diameter. A longer bed could be fitted to give a huge printing area. The press is geared and is driven by a starwheel. It weighs more than a tonne.
